On a Roll

Been playing a lot of poker lately... well, not yesterday though, as my power went out thanks to the storms that raged through the DC-Maryland-VA area yesterday. But yea, I've played some live games, both cash and tournament, and some online cash games and SNGs too.

Not going to go into too much detail since I know most people hate reading about detailed results (I know I do), but I've won, roughly, $350 in my last four sessions. I even survived and profited off one of those sessions where all I could come up with was the second-best hand.

So ideally, that trip to Atlantic City my friends and I had scheduled for this weekend would have been perfect for me because of all the momentum I've picked up over the last few sessions. Too bad we couldn't find a room available at the Showboat Casino for the discounted rate my friend had. I tried convincing my friends to book one of those cheap motels a mile away from AC, but no dice. We haven't decided on when we'll try again, but it better be soon dammit... the roll I'm on (knock on wood) can only last so long!
